So every year we venture out to Majorca at least 2-3 times as it's only a two hour flight and is such a beautiful island. This trip was a weekend in February which surprisingly ended up being the perfect winter weekend escape. As it was February and there wasn't much room for sunbathing and tanning at the beach 🌊 so we decided to hire a car and explored the island // eat a lot of food 🥘
Within the hills of Valdemossa is the beautiful town called Deia, there is nothing that compares to this truly unique town and is a must see for anyone coming to majorca. Deia is about an hours drive from Palma and if you are looking to get away and enjoy a stress free holiday in the ❤️ of the Spanish countryside then look no further than 👇🏽👇🏽
Belmond La Residencia Hotel
Moving on from deia we explored the restaurants of Palma. 💭 old town || feat modern rustic. Each restaurant has its own style, we opted for Ritzi which has recently opened in Palma and has a sister restaurant in Portals Nous. 👏🏽
IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW👇🏽👇🏽
There is no where in this world that can compare to Abaco it is truly one of a kind. Hidden behind a large wooden door is a converted house || bloggers dream. Mixed with candles, fruits and flowers and mix & matched furnishings. All you need to do is sit back & enjoy a cocktail 🍹 & maybe a dessert 🍨 & you could be anywhere in the world 🌎 take time to explore the upstairs with a huge variety of grand rooms. In the summer months they open the large outdoor area with a beautiful grand fountain. It really is something out of film:
A very different Friday Eve than expected at the beginning of Feb & a few too many.. we were off to bed 🛏🔑🛎
woken up to a surprisingly nice day, we took advantage and explored more of the island🌴🏝🌴 and of course ate and drunk more and more WHAT DIET ITS FEB?
It seems every corner you turn in Majorca there is something new that you haven't seen and we can't resist a good view pic #wehavethisthingwithviews/
staircases/floors/ceilings incase you hadn't noticed by now 😶
We stopped for a 2 hour lunch in Portal Nous and looked at a few yachts we can't afford. Cappuccino is a favourite lunch spot of ours and offers so much choice from ice coffees, burgers, sushi and some stunaGe cocktails 🍹 no wonder it was such a long lunch.
& then it was on to dinner at a new tapas restaurant in Palma called Tast a must try if you like tapas and like to explore different types of food and of course the Moët 🥂🍾🥂🍾🥂🍾
Sunday we woke up || The sun was shining and we actually had a moment to sunbath and have a beaut breakfast on the balcony , again -1 in London = decorum winning 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Port Andraxt is a fishing port about 30 minutes from Palma, filled with amazing fish restaurant and £££££££££ villas on hills over looking sensational life changing views /// decorum goals 👌🏽🙏🏽👌🏽
a walk along the empty port with the sun shining, it was the perfect Sunday!!!
One last stop at the original Ritzi's for some truffle pasta and the freshest oysters and an outdoor band = the perfect end to an amazing, chilled weekend getaway in the middle of freezing cold England.
